The āgreat fall of ā23ā cracked me up š I have a 30 year old jade plant that my dad has nearly killed twice by elbowing it and breaking the pot (he is banned from touching the plant now). He turned 30 this year and he lost a lot of his branches from the two assassination attempts, and thankfully is very as I found out he wasnāt watered for a good 2 years by either of my parents as they both somehow forgot about it, but it grew more and ended up stretching so it looks more like a bonsai. It has recovered since I started taking care of it and Iām really proud of it, so congrats to yours. My 30 year old is a cutting from my grandmotherās 60+ jade, so Iām a pretty stressed plant parent about him, but he thrives on neglect and recently gave me a bunch of cuttings to form a whole new jade plant.

1 Likethat is a GORGEOUS jade plant
1 LikeWhy, thank you, but I canāt take credit for the 60+ one. My aunt is the one taking care of it since my grandmotherās passing. My grandmother is who inspired me to take up gardening and botany, though. These are my jades, which will likely take some time to get to the size of my grandmotherās.
