I checked out Walmart’s garden section and they had a ton of great plants so you know I couldn’t leave without buying a couple 😂 I got a Golden Pothos and a Raven Zz, does anyone have any tips for my newest plant additions?

    I had a hard time growing my raven zz. I don’t think it grows the same as the regular one with the dark leaves. For the golden pothos, you’ll want to give it a lot of light to keep the variegation. Other than that, it does well in lower lighting, just might lose the hints of yellow / light green.

      raven zz’s supposedly need a lot more sun than their regular green counterpart; something about the black pigment blocking light absorption. i don’t have either zz, this is just what i’ve heard

    My raven zz is really easy! Biggest thing is to water very very infrequently - the rhizomes store water so you don’t want to water it often. Mine is a little bigger than yours, but I only water it about every 6 weeks or so. Mine has been in low light most of the time I’ve had it, but its new growth is a little leggy. I’ve had it under a grow light for the last month or so and it seems to be happy :) just don’t expect fast growth!

    I’ve had mine since July of last year and it’s had only a couple of new growth. Definitely slower at having babies. Haha
