I’m in desperate need of some help with my Thai constellation! I bought it a month ago and shortly thereafter found root rot. I had to cut the rotted roots and treated with hydrogen peroxide. Ever since the rot has continued to progress and my plant keeps declining. Now all that is left is one little root. It’s currently in sphagnum moss and perlite and some rooting hormone and it under a grow light 12+ hours a day. And it just keeps declining! What can I do to save this plant?

Water would be good stick it in water and allow it to propagate that’s what I would do. But I think it probably is fine it might take longer then if u do put it in water

Just a thought but are you fertilizing it? Perlite has no nutritional value. I would agree with trying the water (distilled or rain) if you can try to grow out the roots.

I agree with propagating in water. Wait until it has a few inches of roots. Variegated monsteras tend to be prone to root rot, so when you do transfer it use a chunky aroid soil mix and let it dry out before watering.
