I rescued this spider plant from a co-worker last week. I repotted it, but noticed this root sticking out above the root ball. Should it be covered?

I don’t think it would hurt to cover it. But they’re pretty resilient
2 J'aimeCould over it or take it off and plant it as a seperate plant
1 j'aimeIt's right in the middle of the plant...it will be interesting to see if it does that!
0 J'aimelol your spider plant looks so healthy compared to mine 😂
1 j'aimeThis was was left neglected by a co-worker who left and I'm trying to save it. My other spider plant died after many years and I'm hoping to bring new life to this one :-)
1 j'aimeMine is 8 years old and is hanging on for dear life right now 😂 I’m trying my best
1 j'aimeYeah I wouldn’t worry about it. However, I wanted to mention that the pot might be a bit large and keep the soil wet for too long. It might be fine, since these are pretty thirsty plants, but generally I try to keep the pot just a bit bigger than the roots. Here’s mine for reference ^_^
