Trying to help this marble queen pothos from work. Can I cut it and put back in soil or does it have to be propagated in water? Thanks!

You can directly plant the cutting back into the pot. You’ll need to keep an eye on moisture. I find it easier to first root them in water before planting them back into the main pot.
4 J'aimeI second this lol, they root so quickly in water too especially if you have multiple cuttings at a time
2 J'aimeHow long do you think it will take to root?
1 j'aimeI’ve had some propagating for about 3 weeks or so and they have secondary roots and new growth 😇
1 j'aimeOmg yay! Thank you!

Alternatively, you might be able to turn the vine back into the pot and pin it (I use unfolded paper clips or bobby bins). They will root from those naked nodes. I’ve had great success with this method and pothos 😊
2 J'aimeSecond this, you look at a pothos cross-eyed and it will root just to spite you…
