Don’t freak out yet! ❤️ This looks like a leaf-spot problem, likely fungal or bacterial. The brown/tan patches with yellowing around them are pretty typical. Remove the badly damaged leaves with clean scissors, throw them away, and keep the foliage dry when watering—water the soil, not the leaves. Give it good airflow and check the stems for any soft or mushy spots. Since this plant is so special, I’d also take a healthy cutting as insurance if you can. And remember, ugly leaves don’t mean you’re losing the plant! Begonias can recover from this. 🌱

      Could I possibly be overwatering?

I started soak watering my begonias to keep the leaves dry. It has made a huge difference and stopped many of the fungus problems I was having.

Do you think this could be happening because of over watering? I avoid leaves at all costs because I was scared of leaf burn.

Not necessarily overwatering, but moisture left on the leaves is what was getting mine. I found that soaking it kept me from doing that.
