Does anyone know what’s on my Aglaonema’s leaves? It looks like some sort of sap but, I’m not sure. It’s like an orange color.

If it’s sticky then it’s a pest infestation. Might be aphids. Had this problem in February-March this year

It’s not sticky or anything. I can only get it off if I wipe it with a wet paper towel. It turns the paper towel orange after I wipe it off.

Then it is probably a fungal/bacterial disease. I don't know how it got there, might be from overwatering, pests, or consistently high humidity levels (90%+). If I was you I would check all of my plants for pests or similar damage. If no pests are noticed and the other plants look fine - use Captain Jack's fungicide. Or you can mix neem, peppermint, and rosemary oils with castile or insecticidal soap, add water, and spray all of the plant stems, top and underside of the leaves, and soil. It will kill fungus and pests, if you have them. Let me know if you need a recipe for the oil mix. Good luck!

Thank you so much! I will definitely try that out and check all my other plants. 😊
