Hey plant people! Looking for advice. When you have a plant strongly rooted in water, do you prefer to move to soil, or to lecha and then soil? I have had equal fails and success with each method, but prefer ultimately to have my plants in soil. I understand it varies by type of plant, but would love some advice that comes from solid experience.

Tradescantia Purple Heart can go straight to potting soil. They don’t even need the water step. They are hardy as long as they are not overwatered. I would put all of it in soil and trim off the long bare sections. Put the cuttings straight into the soil to get a full pot. I have several that take over old pots. They love off rain water.
