Yes! It is in the process of becoming long enough to hang. Within a few weeks it’ll be fully leaned over (hanging). They are super fast growing and really easy to propagate as well. If you don’t like the leaning, I would cut between all the nodes and place back in the pot to make a fuller plant.

Is this a Tradescantia Baby Bunny Belly? If so, it will hang. Plant Lady 2 is right. Cut the stem and propagate in water or back into the same pot. I got mine in a discount rack last summer at Home Depot. The 8” pot is dense with many plants.

You don’t have to cut it. It’s up to you. I’ve added cutting and propagating instructions below. That’s my plant. I buy most plants online. I buy local at the end of summer because the sales are great. I paid $10 for that huge plant! Online stores: Etsy, Steve Leaves, Canopy Plants, Plant Proper, Gabriella Plants, Gardino Nursery, and The Planted Vet

You can cut and propagate. Cut at the location shown in the picture. Poke a hole in the soil with a pencil/chopstick. Place the cutting in the hole. Ensure 2 leaf nodes are in the soil to grow roots quicker. Remove leaves that are under the soil when planted or they will rot. Water thoroughly. The water will eventually fill in the hole with soil. Water again when the top 1 inch of soil is dry. It will take a week for new roots to show. Fertilize every two weeks once the roots start.
