Can anyone tell me what is going on with my snake plant. No pest, there is a plant light on it for about 12 hours and I use Planta and a chopstick for checking the chunky soil between watering. All the leaves were growing straight up until about a week ago. The edges are turning yellow on quite a few of them. And as you can see one of the larger leaves is splitting. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I just had to cut back my FLF so I’m hoping I can intervene sooner than later with this one.

    You might be overwatering it. Snake plants are a succulent and need to have time to go through their water stores after the soil dries out. You don’t need to water the day the soil dries, I always wait until the plant asks for water with succulents. They’ll feel slightly softer and less firm as they have less moisture content.

    Yep. I will say too much water as well. Let it dry completely before you add more water to it.

    Ditto above comments. That pot should be dry and will feel very light compared to after watering. Also check your lighting. Snakes need bright light. Morning sun would be great. I’m assuming there is a drain hole in that planter. Grow light may not be strong enough.
