I saved this money tree that my mother was killing, unfortunately I saved it a bit late. Only one stem is living, but the one stem is thriving. Should I cut the rest off, is it safe to? I don’t want to hurt the healthy part. Is there any chance of new ones coming in? (I do plan on repotting him soon)

    Since this is a braided money tree, you may want to double check that there is no rubber band holding the stems together just beneath the soil. The stems are likely multiple plants and the dead ones can be removed completely. You may have just watered it in this photo, but the soil looks quite wet - be sure too let it dry out a lot before watering again. Money trees like to be neglected a bit.

      I don’t remember seeing any rubber band when I repotted it last but I’ll have to check again! I had quite literally JUST watered it prior to taking this pic so the soil never looks like that. Thank you for the info!! :)
