Any ideas what these things are growing out of the top of my rubber plant? Just sprouted over the past few weeks, now my plant is leaning heavily. Do I leave them be or remove? Thank you!

I think you leave them, they could be new growth.
1 j'aimeyour baby rubber plant is flowering! idk the specifics for this plant, but in general you should leave the inflorescence alone until it falls off on its own- if you remove it, the plant will keep spending energy on producing more flowers instead of leaves. (rubber plant owners, please correct me if i'm wrong!) hope this helps!
2 J'aimerubber plants belong to the peperomia family rather than the ficus family (rubber trees) so they have the typical inflorescence of a peperomia.
1 j'aimeOhhh good to know, thank you!
0 J'aimeTrue but after the flowers do eventually fall off I cut mine back on the main stem a few inches back to encourage new growth and thicker stronger stems
1 j'aimeThat is helpful thank you both 🙂
2 J'aimeYw :D
0 J'aimeIf you do trim your plant back, as Eden’s Garden suggested, the cuttings can be placed in water for new plants. They root very quickly.
1 j'aimeGreat, thanks for all your help!
