Can anyone tell me why the backs of these leaves from these three plants have red speckles on them? One is obviously my red margin pepperomia, one is my ficus Schrijveriana, and the third is my Tineke rubber plant. TIA! PS. I don’t overwater, at all. I wait until these plants are quite dry before I water them.

Two of mine have that too. I assumed it was normal 😅

Hmmmm… maybe somebody else will come up with an idea, because I feel like this is not normal, but I have NO idea what it might be. If I find out, I’ll let you know… TXS!

Maybe something in your water?? What kind of water do you use? I have that middle one too and while it started with a little pink hue, it’s an all over color and not all my leaves have it.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s caused by our water, because we have a whole house water filter, which seems to do a good job of filtering everything out. Hopefully, somebody else will chime in, and make a useful comment about this. TXS for your post!

Is that edema? I don't know about rubber trees, but my fiddle leaf had red spots from over watering that looked like that 💚🌿
