I recently got this cactus can you tell me how much to water it when, and what type it is

    i have one too! i don't give mine much water, basically wait till the dirt is completely dry.

    Bottom water with the water sitting at the halfway point of the pot, i find it easier. I wouldn't follow plantas advice to a T, always make sure the soil is 100% dry first or even wait a few days after. Better to under than overwater. And this is going to be really disappointing, but the flower is glued plastic.. idk a safe way to remove it without damage, as idk how it would be affected by acetone. Id research how to remove it the safest way possible.

      It can impede growth or become deformed over time. It's hot glue so it may break spines or cause scars. Im sorry that im not the best for advice on the removal its self. There r many ppl that go thru it online tho so u may find some info in other forums or maybe on here from past posts. Good luck and I hope for the best

      i replanted mine like a few days after i got them. the soil has to be a special type - which if you google it you'll find it. the soil will be moist at first, so i would like wait a week after repotting it then water & wait till the dirt is completely dry - water it.
