Begonia ID - i combined a smaller begonia to a taller one in one pot. I thought they were the same - both labelled as Begonia Maculata. They look different to me. Can anyone help confirm?

EmmyyyThey’re definitely different. The amount of silver spots and obviously the underside colour but for the life of me I don’t know what the lower all green one is 😂

Plant Lives MatterThey absolutely do look different. It could be that the big one is the regular B. maculata (looks like the one I used to have) and the smaller one is the cultivar ‘Wightii’. Or the other way around? Both the same species, so likely not much different in care. It’s interesting, I’d see different muculatas around and think how they didn’t look like mine. I guess that’s why! 😂

Thanks yeah - I really thought they were the same. Glad it’s not just me. I’ll separate them (again).

You shouldn’t need to separate them? I would assume they both have very much the same care requirements considering they’re pretty much the same thing 😂
