Has anyone else been having a bad summer, plant-wise? I’ve had ten plants just give up the ghost for no discernible reason in the past month or so, and for seemingly different reasons. The rooms that my plants are in are mostly not air conditioned — could it be the heat? Humidity? Changes in weather? Bad vibes? A wizard’s curse?

A lot of the time it's a lighting issue especially with the changing season. Make sure your providing enough light to your plants

Depending on the plant water requirements change in summer due to it being the growing season depending on the plant. I lost a lot over the winter so I understand. It’s trial and error and always changing.

depending on where you are, probably the heat. most of these plants will tolerate hight light and humidity but some simply cannot handle summer heat if you live close to the equator.

I live in New England, so not super close to the equator! I think it might just be a combination of crazy weather changes and wizard’s curse.

I have been having a bit of a root damage curse, but surprisingly I only lost two plants over my vacation
