My succulent (burros tail) has been like this ever since I got it, so for several months now, the leaves are very fragile and will snap off easily, it is looking a bit wilted and wrinkly. It has lots of sun and probably too much water.. I’ve changed the location now so it is getting less direct sunlight, any tips? It’s hard to see in the photo, but on the other side lots of stems have many missing leaves. Thanks so much!

burros tail are pretty notorious for being easily breakable. you want to try to aim for a location that you won’t bump it and just be super careful moving it for watering etc. dropping leaves can also be a sign of overwatering too. Lots of light is super important but you weren’t wrong to move it out of the direct sun. I’d just make sure you’re rotating it (I think some people do a half turn every watering) if it’s not getting directly over head light. It looks like one side of your plant may have gotten a bit more sun. I also think that upsizing this pot by like 1-2 inches max might help give the stems a bit more room so they don’t bump each other. I think best course of action is a repot and just use a super well draining soil! Btw I love the blues on your plant it’s like the ocean

Thanks so much! That’s really helpful 😁 🌱 I’m going to repot it into a bigger terracotta pot today! (heard that’s better than plastic)

Earthenware pots will definitely help soak up some extra moisture! Just avoid anything with a glaze
