SunnyIt depends on the film. Some let in a lot of light while providing privacy. Others can block too much light. Choose one that works best for you. I have some in a bay window that looks like partially open mini blinds. I can’t use them on the bottom half of the window because the bug screen blocks a lot of light already. It’s almost too dark in front of the lower window pane. See the photo.
