So this is really growing, I want to repot it, but I see there are roots at the top, how do I repot?

Ok I may be totally wrong here, but is this a succulent? I think that long piece is etiolating because it's not getting enough sun. That might be a piece to cut and make a new plant out of and then move the original plant to a more sunny spot. I don't think the original needs to be repotted unless there are roots coming out the bottom. Succulents like to be snug.

0 LikesLooks like it’s a runner, which means the plant is trying to reproduce and sending out babies to start taking root. If you want, you can just trim the entire thing off (so take that long stem and trim as close to the base as possible) It’s up to you if you want to propagate the runner to grow into another plant, or just toss it
