I couldn’t help but share the awesome deal I found at Home Depot this evening, I got these ponytail palms (one with pups) for $10 a piece and they came in self watering pots as well!! They had all different plants to choose from from snake plants to ZZ plants!! I obviously chose the two amazing ponytail palms and the stunning princess plant!!🌱🤩🌱🤩🌱
Yes I snagged a ponytail palm from them a few weeks back!
좋아요 1개 Super good deal, when I was a newb the first plant I got was a ponytail palm on Amazon and it was about the same size from Costa Farms and it was $39!! So yeah I was shocked to find them so cheap!!

Have you had any trouble with fungus gnats from plants you get from there? I think it's the soil we used, but I'm curious if it might have started there.
0개 좋아요 I wouldn’t say so, I really only get them from over watering but yeah I wouldn’t say I notice them start coming around when I buy my plants from there and that’s pretty much always!! I do however give any new plant I get a full spa day when I get them home, new soil is a must cuz they lay their eggs of course in that and if I’m using the same pot I wash it really well with warm soapy water then I still quarantine for a week. Are you treating them when you see them or preventative wise?

My boyfriend and I had to repot and fully change the soil to our plants earlier this year(?) due to some really bad infestations we noticed after bringing some home from depot and the only solution we found was a different soil plus some oil sprays and sticky traps. I added some cinnamon to one of my plants and it's flourishing with very little issues!
0개 좋아요 I fully repot all my plants before they are introduced to all the others in our Happy Place!! If I’m using the same pot I just trim the roots a bit, if what size it is looks the size you want it to stay.
