I guess I can safely assume that this pot is too big to repot this plant.š¤ Also, it was suggested that I wait til the spring to repot it despite the fact that the roots are coming thru the bottom holes. Is that correct? š¤

Thatās a fantastic pot for your plant! If you need to repot quickly, like when the roots are coming out of the bottom, you can definitely do it in the winter. For outdoor plants, itās probably best to hold off, and for indoor plants, go ahead and repot whenever youāre ready :)
1 me gustaGeneral rule of thumb is that you want the size of the pot to be no more than 2 inches bigger than the root ball, so as long as itās only 2 inches bigger in diameter it should be fine. While it might be more ideal to repot in the spring, itās usually fine for indoor plants to be repotted even in the winter.

This pot looks fine, as long as the plant is fully rooted in its current pot. Tradescantia are fast growers anyway! I repot all year round. I repotted this past weekend, and will repot again very soon! š As long as your plant has sufficient light/good conditions itāll continue to grow.
