I started the day with 9 notifications that plants need water. That’s all my plants. I’m also having a gnat infestation so they’re all getting treated at the same time. I figured I’d do a group shot!

    If you have fungus gnats, then the top of your soil is probably staying too wet. Been there, done that… Still do it sometimes… But rarely now. I don’t know where you are in the world, but I tend to keep systemic granules in my house plants and this helps me prevent that from ever happening. I don’t retreat very frequently with my systemic. I’ve also been known to make a lovely tea out of mosquito bits and use that when I water my plant to help nip fungus gnats in the bud

    Just a heads up don’t use the Planta watering reminders they might be right one or two times but they can be very wrong just check the soil by sticking your finger in it!

    I usually don’t follow planta’s schedule for watering. I will check the plants first on days that I get the notifications. However, scheduled or not, this time they needed to be treated. I watered them all with the mosquito dunk tea method. Hoping it at least slows them down. I need to look for those granules you spoke of.
