   I had a similar problem, is it loosening leaves as you touch the plant? If that’s happening I was told to wipe the leaves with Neem oil, I bought some at a Indian grocery store and wiped the leaves and the plant seems to have recovered.

     Ok thanks. Only this stem has scales !! I could chop it I guess

   Might be edema? The plant drank too much water and it caused the leaf cells to rupture and scar. If this is the cause just make sure you have a really good draining soil mix.
