Hello please help Asap I Am In Shock So I got this fairy washboard from Home Depot and it was looking pretty good until I went to water it today and it just basically decapitated itself Please help What do I do 😳🫡🫥🫢😶

    Looks like it had root rot - I would put it on a new bed of dry soil and see how it re roots if at all.

      It may take a few weeks or even over a month to see new roots as it will depend on the damage of the root system.

    Depending on when you got it you might also try returning it, because it probably wasn’t healthy at purchase

    You can return if it was bought within 90 days, seems like it was sick and the purple paint makes it hard for the plant to photosynthesize which could be part of the problem. I’d stay away from anything spray painted

    If its dying, you can ask home depot within a year and they HAVE to give you a new plant. It is part of their policy. HOPE THIS HELPS :D

    Plants that have been painted like this will suffocate because they can’t breathe through their stomata.

    I had the same thing happen to one I bought. I laughed bc mine came out bc it was dry. It made it though, but when you buy plants repot them since you don’t know the trauma (I’ve seen them unloading the plants 🤯) they’ve been through.
