I’m curious. This ponytail palm was gifted to us 3 years ago. it was a friend’s grandma’s. I just installed the growlight and I’m hoping that will help with the drooping leaves. My question is, is the pot too big? When I use my water tool, it says the soil about 6 inches down is wet. Do I still water it today? I’m worried I am under watering it because I’ve read you’re supposed to let the soil dry out.

Beautiful indoor tree! But ponytail palm like to be rootbound and to dry out COMPLETELY then watered thoroughly

Let it dry. Btw. Impressive plant. I’ve never seen one so large before

It did come to us pretty big. But it’s grown about a foot . In fact, I recently gave away five big babies!
