I repotted a Rex begonia & it is really REALLY wilty going on 2 days now. Will it bounce back? Is this a dramatic plant like fittonias? Does anyone have any tips with this plant? I can’t find hardly any specific info on its characteristics. It was so pretty before paranoid me thought it could’ve been suffering from overwatering/rot.

Did you water when you repotted? Also , what potting soil did you use? They’re so dramatic lmao! Mine do this too every now and then and I do my best to keep them happy

Yes I did, I used a multi purpose soil with extra perlite & some cinnamon.. I have it about 3 feet from an east facing window, all of my other drama queens do good there. I hope it’s just shock… the pot it was in before had so much wet & extra soil, I down sized like 2 pot sizes.

Sounds like you did everything perfect! Probably just shock. Give it some time to just sit and perk back up it should be all set :) you can remove any leaves that don’t perk back up after a while as well

Just make sure it’s never like bone dry while it’s recovering and you should be good to go!
