Any one have an idea of what’s going on with my Thanksgiving cactus? Healthy leaves are underneath but the top layer looks terrible.

    Looks like possible root rot that only got part of the root mass

    I don’t think the part that is turning brown will revive. I would save the thriving parts in a new pot. Not sure why it is giving up. Water inconsistency or light issues are the likely cause. They like to be near the light, but not in front of the window.
