I was gifted a venus flytrap that was from Walmart, and it's still alive after about a week. Is there anything I can do to make it happier, or is it doing fine?

      Really any, you could feed it gnats or fruit flies if you have any or it it’s outside things like aphids and other pests

    make sure you’re watering it with distilled water! from what i’ve heard it’s also a bog plant so it likes to be wet but i would suggest doing some more research on that

    I actually wouldn’t feed it bugs when it’s this small because it takes a lot of energy to close the traps. I recommend doing some research online because there are a lot of great resources out there, and you can probably get better advice than you would get here.

      Yeah, it's smaller than in the display picture, I just haven't had the chance to update it yet :/ it's absolutely tiny. Thanks for the advice!
