too hot inside, too wild outside: what should i do with my plants while i travel? š„ hey plant people! š± i live in nyc and will be traveling for about 3 weeks this summer. iām trying to figure out the best way to keep my plants alive while iām gone. i have around 15 plants, some big and some small ones. i have an outdoor patio and was thinking of leaving them outside so they get fresh air instead of being stuck in my hot, closed-up apartment, but iām worried about the unpredictable summer weatherānyc can get really hot and also have sudden heavy rains and windy days. would building something like a diy awning or cover be enough to protect them? or would it be better to leave them inside and ask a neighbor to stop by once a week to water them? (though iām not sure how well they'll do in the heat without good airflow) would love to hear how others have handled thisāany tips or advice would be super appreciated! thanks! šš
