Adian RankinThe thing about direct light is it so important for so many plants but there’s a balance between light, water and moisture. This type of plant which I believe is a birds of paradise or within the same family needs specific humidity levels and I bet you the bright direct light is overwhelming the plant and it doesn’t have enough moisture. A solution for this would be to buy a humidifier or mist down the leafs every few days.
