    Every time you check on your plants you do not need to water or mess with them, just let them be!

    Crotons will grow nicely if you keep the roots moist and don't move them. Just keep in the same spot with very bright light.. And I've learned you do not need water in the self watering pots all the time.

    Our idea of light levels vs a plant’s perception are very different. A light meter is the only way to know for sure how much light a plant is getting.

      Yes Mads! Most people overestimate the amount of light hitting their plant.

    Patience is key. That’s a tough one for me lol. Also, when you water your plants, water yourself too. Gotta stay hydrated!

    The rule “you don’t need to buy one” I have just gotten into the plant life and I have just been sticking to asking friends for trades or cutting of their plants! It has helped my bank account 😅

    You can repot your plant whenever YOU feel like it lol just be careful not to damage any roots and not go to big. I finally found the substrate that works with my watering care and my plants are thriving!
