trying to save my asparagus fern, are these brown roots normal or are they rotted, they don’t have any particularly bad smell but my plant is yellowing and was in a pot without drainage and was soaking so i repotted into a smaller pot that has a drainage hole, but i love this plant and don’t want it to die
those roots look ok to me! if the ones you’re worried about aren’t soft or squishy, you’re good

I have a plant just like yours, and she turns yellow when she doesn’t get enough fertilizer. If I fertilize her adequately, and, she likes it often, she turns a beautiful, dark shade of green; just lovely! She is one of my sweethearts, 🥰. Hope this helps. Good luck! 🤗💚🪴
