Does anyone know what kind of pathos this is ? I had it in water for a couple years until last month when I potted it, it use to be a golden green but turned spotty like this when planted in soil

    Either Marble Queen or Snow Queen. If the variegation is white its Snow Q if its more yellow its Marble Q.

    a marble queen pothos. snow queen pothos are the same variety just a different name for those with more white on the leaves. it is your choice what you call it. lack of light is likely what caused the plant to revert to green. and increased light probably brought the variegation back. for future reference, there’s a plant identification group intended for posts like this :-)
