Random question here. I only have a skylight in my room at work. No windows. When reporting how close my plant is to the “window” I feel like it would be inaccurate to say 10 feet! When at some points in the day there is some good light coming in. I’m just unsure what to do to be the most accurate as far as lighting is concerned. Thoughts?

If your plants have been in the space for quite some time and are growing well (rather than slowly), then you could call it “part sun part shade”. TBH though, since buying a light meter, what I previously considered adequate light for the type of plants I had in my space, I realised that it really wasn’t enough. Supplementing with grow lights has been a game changer and was really evidenced through the fact that plant growth increased significantly and there was a significant decrease in sad looking plants. Just some thoughts :)
