    It’s personal preference. I’ve never put mine on a pole and it’s very old. Use a pole when there is enough of the main stem to tie to a pole.

    i love using a homemade moss pole, you can find tutorials on tiktok:) i would put that baby on a moss pole or some sort of support asap. in nature, they grow up the sides of trees so they just need any source of support:)

    I would put it on a trellis or moss pole now. I prefer a trellis instead of a pole.
