Hiya, so I’ve had this silver inch for a few months now and she’s been growing big and amazingly. However I noticed she’s growing upwards vs downwards… anytime I try to re position the vines they simply just fall over (holding up the vine in the photo- entire left side) and look distraught lol is it normal for it to grow upwards?

Hey, there! It is completely normal! Yours is still a baby and when it’s happy and healthy it sticks up. Once it gets long enough, the weight of itself will allow it to fall. You can even trim the end of the longer one and pop it back into the wet soil to help fill it out more. Mine is due for a trim, lol.

Oh wow, how beautiful 😍 Thank you, your response was very helpful. I was afraid she wasn’t getting enough light or something of that nature!

I ended up doing the trim like you suggested and popping the cuttings back into wet soil! Looks fuller already, thank you :)

I put mine on a trellis if you want it to keep growing upwards.

I also took a bit of your advice as well, I don’t have a trellis but I have some sticks I’ve been using for my tomatoes.

Nice, It’s a great start! I had to put mine on one b/c I don’t have a way of hanging trailing plants 😅 so onward and upward they go. They sell them cheap on Amazon too.
