Hi everyone! I have an air plant with curling and shriveled leaves. I’m considering removing them, but I’m unsure if it’s necessary. I’ve never had an air plant before, so I’m not sure if it’s healthy. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

  1. Plant Intern 🤓

Any dry or curling leaves could indicate not enough moisture in the past or dry out for too long

You could trim of dry or crispy edges but only really necessary for aesthetics

I usually just mist mine until the ashy parts are green or just run it under water and shake off or let the excess water drip off and they are usually fine for a couple weeks-month but this will depend upon your environment/humidity
