What does everyone use for fertilizer for their indoor house plants. Do you find liquid or solid? Works better?

I like using powder because I mix it in with my watering can and when I water the plant it gets it too. With liquid usually it’s a pump and I’m not the biggest fan because I don’t know how much I’m putting in.

If you mix with water how does that affect the water vs fertilize schedule on app?
0개 좋아요I don’t have premium so it doesn’t affect the fertilizer 😂 but whenever it’s watering time depending on the plant I’ll add fertilizer.

I have used acidic fertilizer on plants that need them like roses, azaleas, tomatoes and evergreens/conifers. I’ve used Osmocote fertilizer beads on sensitive plants that need slow fertilizer with low chance of fertilizer burns. A lot of nursery plants come with fertilizer beads in the soil. Leaf spray orchid fertilizer is supposed to help hoyas bloom. I used it one season with no luck. Probably operator error. 😁🪴🍀
2개 좋아요I second on the osmocote pellets. They’re great for those new to fertilizer without much risk of overdoing it 👍

Do you just sprinkle pellets on soil in pot?
좋아요 1개You can mix in the soil. A lot of my plants arrive with the beads on top. It may be the nursery topping up with fresh fertilizer beads before shipping. The beads last anywhere from 3 months to 8 months.
