KatI don’t know about avocado plants exactly, but i would check your roots for rot

Yes, its a outside plant and it gets morning and noon light, i do fertilize

AlyssaIt might be sun burnt, most fruit trees need a coating on their bark since they hardly have any leaves for shade

Manic1My avocado has done a similar thing. The leaves got dry and crispy then dropped off. I’ve cut it down an inch or two to just above a leaf node and I’m hoping for the best. Might even repot soon as the roots are starting to poke out of the bottom a little bit. Sorry I’ve got no advice as this is my first attempt to grow an avocado from seed 🌱
