Is this root rot?? I got this watermelon peperomia start about 6 months ago and she was thriving, but all of a sudden the leaves started curling and the roots look like this. Help!!

Evi (◡‿◡✿)It honestly looks like she’s not getting enough water . Could also be the soil not being chunky enough (adding perlite, or orchid bark)

JosieAgree on the soil it looks dense and dry. Pepperomias don’t require a lot of water but that def looks to dry.
