I was given this propagation of a red Anderson and I put it in soil, and it slowly was dying. I switched it into water 3 weeks ago to grow roots, because they had all died off. There has been no new root growth. But the plant has stayed alive. Should I cut off all that brown stuff? What should I do? Any advice appreciated! Thank you!

Cut off the brown as it’ll be rot and won’t grow anything from that section. Also, drop that part in some hydrogen peroxide to help kill off any rot that is still lingering? That may help.
