Hey everyone! I’m completely renovating my plant setup as I just recently got fully obsessed and want to give my plants the best life possible as well as being able to grow my collection. I’m all set on grow lights but I’m wondering what humidifier to get. Are there any specific ones or just any requirements it needs to have? Thanks in advance!

I honestly don't think humidifiers are necessary. I also think misting is so over rated and does nothing for plants. I would suggest maybe a greenhouse cabinet. The ikea ones are very popular and inexpensive. Ive stopped misting and using a humidifier and my plants are still thriving. Just an experience you should consider

I have the Dreo smart humidifier, it’s super convenient and does the job well. I didn’t get it for plants though

My only suggestion would be not to buy one of those personal humidifiers. You need a room size. I got all of mine from Amazon warehouse at extremely good prices. I would also suggest that you get a humidistat to measure the humidity in your home now. Most tropical plants prefer 50% or more. Most can get by at about 35-40%. I keep the plants that need high humidity in one area with the humidifier beside them.

I agree with Phil, I got my humidifier from Amazon and it's pretty large capacity. Make sure to clean it regularly. It also has a timer and I mostly run it in the fall/winter. I also just have a regular bottle for misting, which also helps to keep my plant leaves clean. Clean leaves take in more sun so it'simportant.
