My mom found this leaf and gave it to me and i want to try to get it to grow roots and i was wondering if putting it in water like would work? Or is there something else i have to do? Should i put it in soil? idrk so lmk if you can, tysm!

Mr VariegatedCan you take a pic of it out of the glass. Need to see if there is a node. If not itās not going to do anything.

Unfortunately thereās no node. Itās just a leaf. It wonāt grow.

Bebešµš¤As long as you have a node for propagating, youāll get a full plant. If it is only a leaf, you might end up with a leaf that has roots

AmbiI have propagated a fiddle leaf in water before, just make sure there are nodes! I see someone posted a picture of what that looks like. Also, you have to be super patient!! I have one propagating right now and itās been a month and there are just little tiny specks of what will hopefully be roots eventually!!
