I just repotted my Alocasia Micholitziana and separated six larger pups from her. I just wanted to show the size of the corms I found as I've never seen them this big before. Also, if you are in SoCal and would like a corm and/or one of the pups I separated, please reach out. The pups are sitting bare rooted in water until that are claimed or die. Anywhere I can donate them?

I’m on some local plant groups on insta and that’s my favorite way to trade etc!

She's definitely a Beauty. I kinda want to drive from NorCal and grab one. 😳🫣😍

I'm sure it wouldn't be much to ship you a couple of corms if you'd like?

BTW... how did you get her to grow so large? She really is stunning.

Thank you so much. She was doing great when I had her in soil but saw a tremendous difference after switching her to pon. I personally think that the proper lighting is the most important piece though. I give her fertilizer every watering. Regular ambient humidity which drops down to the 20s at times

Sorry for late reply. When I had her in soil, I let her dry out almost completely. Now that she is in pon, I just fill the reservoir when I notice it was empty. She sits a out 5 feet from a South East Facing window. I give her 1/4 teaspoon of Super Thrive any time I add water. She also has a grow light about her.

The only ones that throw a fit for me with lower humidity are my Calatheas and Maranta. My Philodendrons, and Alocasias don't seem to be effected by it.
