Hey guys! I’m looking for evergreen plants I can put on my mailbox. Does anyone have suggestions? I need something that will stay green year round, survive the intense heat, and will thrive in El Paso, Tx crazy weather.

i would recommend looking into some cold hardy succulent varieties. i know texas gets occasional frost at least, and many sedum and petrosedum are hardy many degrees below freezing. the smaller, thinner leaved ones usually like p. forsterianum or rupestre
1 Likei also live in texas and i would second succulents! they seem to be literally the only thing that lives (besides the hundred year-old trees and im assuming you don’t want to wait that long). yucca plants especially!!! that being said, the sometimes freezes we get could totally kill everything and you’d have to start over, there’s no way of knowing. however you end up planting them, i’d recommend a way that you can remove them and put them inside just in case!
