Now, a question for all my wonderful plant people on here: when indicating in my room has drafts or not, I have a bit of an issue. All the windows are absolutely tight enough to not let drafts in, but I do open the windows daily for abt 10 minutes to let some of that fresh air in, because otherwise it gets sad&stale and I get a headache. Would you consider that a draft? Thanks!

Nah, I’d say a draft is more of a continuous throughout the day thing, especially at night

Thank goodness:) I love philodendrons with all my heart and all of them, or most of them at least, are lil sensitive to draft bastards, so I was concerned if I would kill my dream plants out here.

I would say to just remove your plants from your window when you do this

I believe the 'draft' is to point out a possible drying aspect? If its just 10mins a day that's not going to dry your soil/media out enough to warrent sooner watering schedule

As far as damage due to cold. That could happen if it was freezing outside. I agree you may want to move them away from the window or room when you do it. It only takes a few minutes of freezing to cause edema in some plants.
