Will one pot size larger be big enough for this guy?

    Measure this circle going straight across and go about 2inch bigger especially since the plants leaves 🍂 are almost just about as big as the circumference of the ball root..

    I think so. The roots don’t look so heavy as to need two sizes up IMO.

    So if it’s at 8inch I would go 10 or 11 just to be safe.

    You normally should go up no more than 2 inches in diameter of the root ball. So example if you have a 4 inch pot then do not go up more than 6 inches. However, with a pothos I have repotted many of mine up to only 1 pot size bigger but I removed or loosen some of the soil around the root ball in order to do so. Just try not to ripe the roots as best you can. To give it a mind to re grow again in new soil, I put some of the miracle grow plant food pellets in the soil before putting my roots in the fresh soil. I also sprinkle systemic granules in the soil at this time to fight off any pest because of repot.
