Hi guys! I got this zigzag cactus a week ago and I noticed some of the new growth is turning red at the ends. Is this normal or a sign of too much sun? This is my first time with this plant!

    I feel like sometimes the new growth just comes out red. If older growth starts turning red, if the red spreads, or if it’s getting any direct light, then it might be sun stress. I’d keep an eye on it for now and see if you notice any more in the meantime.

    Typically to my knowledge when plants give color it’s common a pretty display on the specific type of succulent you have. And most ppl allow the plant to stress to even give out color. But in my opinion your plant looks AMAZING..😮‍💨
