Got this plant today! Was told it was an Alocasia, but not sure what type or if it is one at all. Any suggestions?

    Found it!! Ivory Coast Alocasia!!

    Don’t worry too much if she drops leaves at first. Alocasia can be very dramatic about changes in environment but as long as she’s getting enough light she’ll replace any that drop. Also they seem not to like being watered in the evening; if it’s after maybe 3-4 pm I usually wait until the next day.

    Oh, and they like it bright. Right in a window or under a grow light is best. She’s gorgeous; congrats!
