I made a post about this a few days ago, but I’m still struggling with my string of pearls. It just seems to keep shriveling more and more every day. Is there any way I can save this? Should I try to cut and propagate any healthy parts before it’s too late?

I grow mine outside under sunshade where it flourishes. I water sparingly. Not sure how to replicate inside

Where do you live? Does it survive the winter?

Ahh that makes sense, ugh wish I had that climate, I’m in NC so lots of rain and pretty cold days in January

Maybe put out based on the season.

Strings of pearls have thin, shallow roots and like to dry out completely between waterings. They are prone to root rot if they receive water too soon. If you haven’t already, check the roots for rot (treat any rot with peroxide), change to succulent/cactus soil, and repot in a terra cotta or clay pot with lots of drainage in a place that receives full sun. Only water when the soil is dry to the bottom or the little vertical windows are closed and the pearls have a little give.
